Cutting month-end reconciliation from days to hours.
We connected Zoho and Tally so sales, stock and accounting reconcile themselves, eliminating double entry and week-long month-ends.
The challenge
Every invoice was keyed once in Zoho and again in Tally. Stock across warehouses drifted from the books, and GST reconciliation ate the first week of every month.
The finance team spent more time re-entering and matching than analysing, and errors only surfaced at month-end.
What we built
We built a custom Google Apps Script sync between Zoho Books and Tally, orchestrated with Make, plus a live Google Sheets reconciliation dashboard, GST-ready and running continuously.
Invoices now post once and flow everywhere; stock movements and payments update both systems in real time.
The results
What changed.
Month-end close went from ~5 days to a few hours.
Records post once and stay aligned across systems.
Stock and accounting reflect reality in real time.
Tools we used
They rebuilt how our order-to-books process runs and stayed until our team owned it. Month-end went from days to hours.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
How do you cut month-end reconciliation from days to hours?
SutraSarthi syncs Zoho Books and Tally so sales, stock and accounting reconcile automatically and double entry is removed. With records posting once and matching across systems, month-end close drops from days to a few hours.
Can Zoho Books and Tally be integrated?
Yes. We build a sync between Zoho Books and Tally, orchestrated with Google Apps Script and Make, so invoices post once and flow to both systems, with a live GST-ready reconciliation dashboard.
Does this remove double data entry?
Yes. Invoices and stock movements are entered once and update both systems in real time, so the finance team stops re-keying and matching records by hand.
Does the automation keep books current for GST?
Yes. The reconciliation flow runs continuously and is built GST-ready, so stock and accounting reflect reality instead of being caught up only at month-end.
